WHAT WEATHER CONDITIONS CAN YOU FLY IN?
Unfortunately, due to all of the electronics on the aircraft being exposed, we cannot fly in the rain. Strong winds can also cause issues, however, we use the world's smoothest camera gimbal which will produce silky smooth shots whatever the conditions, however, safety of flying the rig is paramount, if the conditions are above our operating specification, we will refuse to operate the drone.
WHY CHOOSE DRONE FILMING/PHOTOGRAPHY OVER FULL-SIZE AIRCRAFTS?
Firstly the real benefit of using UAV/Drone services is that the cost is dramatically reduced while keeping with the high standards of fixed-wing aircraft and helicopters. Another great reason to use these services, not only can the drone fly as high as a manned aircraft, but it can also get closer to reveal the finer details whereas a manned aircraft has a 500/1500ft limit depending on the location. This can benefit all sorts of sectors especially real estate for those properties with beautiful gardens which cannot be seen from a greater height.
HOW LONG CAN YOU FLY FOR?
Our drones can fly for approximately 20/25 minutes on a single battery, this may seem short but we have a large supply of batteries. Once on site charging available, we have enough batteries to fly for a whole day without interruption.
HOW HIGH AND FAR AWAY CAN YOU FLY?
Due to the regulations placed on unmanned aerial systems by the IAA & CAA, we are only permitted to fly to 400ft, or higher under special permissions. We can also fly out to 600m from base giving plenty of movement to reveal large areas. The drone is also capable of reaching speeds up to 50mph.
